Karsten Lakes Qualifying

The Race to Paris "LeGolf National" got underway at Karsten Lakes on Wednesday 7th April 2021 attracting an excellent entry of 27 teams. The conditions were perfect and the course was in excellent condition, a big thanks to the team at Thonock Park for their wonderful hospitality. Congratulations to Thonock Park GC 2 led by Jack Follows on clinching the top prize with 93 points, three clear of runners up Mark Cooke's Team from Hornsea Golf Club on 90 points. In third place were Concord Park GC captained by Paul James on 88 points.

Moortown Golf Club Qualifying

The Race to Paris "LeGolf National" Series moved onto Moortown Golf Club in Leeds on Thursday 15th April for the 2nd Round Qualifier. Wonderful feedback from all competitors about the course which hosted the 1929 Ryder Cup and the excellent hospitality received. Congratulations to the winners Accrington Golf Club (John Ellison, Chris Payne, Craig Millward, Gareth Aspey) collecting the top prize with 93 points. Runners up were Forest Pines GC 6 led by Neil Marshall on 89points with Scratches (Marcus Newcombe) taking third spot on 88 points. The top 3 teams qualify for the 27 Hole Grand Final on Wednesday 5th May at Forest Pines.

Ganton Golf Club Qualifying

The Race to Paris "LeGolf National" moved over to the East Coast for Round 3 playing at Ganton GC another spectacular course which has hosted the Ryder Cup plus many leading Professional and Amateur Tournaments over the years. The course was stunning and we received nothing but compliments about the fabulous venue. This weeks winners were The Social Golfer (Ian Halliwell, Kevin Booth, Matt Wheatcroft, James Kingswood) on 87 points, one clear of Runners Up (Paul Beatty) Divorce on the Cards 86 points. In third place were Pike Hills Golf Club (Joe McGovern) on 85 points beating Thonock Park GC (Daz Fox) on a countback. Qualifiers were The Social Golfer, Divorce on the Cards 1 & Pike Hills Golf Club.

Woodhall Spa Qualifying

Glorious weather and a fabulous golf course what more could you ask from the stunning Woodhall Spa "The Home of England Golf" Todays winners were Forest Pines GC 6 who returned a magnificent 95 Stableford Points. Team members Neil Marshall, Tom McGuire, John Carolan & Jamie Hope produced some impressive golf. In second spot were Brough Golf Club "Frank O'Kane" with 86 points. Two back on 84 points were Turner Warran "Kevin Turner" clinching 3rd spot after beating Bondhay Golf Club "Steve Cammack" after returning 84 points.The Qualifiers for the Grand Final were Brough GC, Turner Warran & Bondhay GC as Forest Pines GC 6 had previously qualified.

Forest Pines Qualifying

Another excellent turnout for today’s Final Qualifier for the Race to Paris 2020/21 Series. Local knowledge certainly paid off for the Forest Pines Team led by Club Captain Pep Delduca who returned a sensational score of 97 points to clinch a place in next week’s 27 Hole Grand Final. In second place were Ashby Decoy on 89 points with Kelly’s Kings in third spot on 87 points. The top three teams qualify for the Grand Final.

27 HOLE GRAND FINAL - Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort

Congratulations to the Forest Pines team led by Club Captain Pep Delduca and team members Chadiner Mann, Owen Musgrave and Jason Coombs on winning todays Grand Final of The Race to Paris. In second place were Hornsea Golf Club closely followed by Divorce on the Cards.
