David Edwards

David Edwards is Head Professional Director of Golf at Forest Pines in Lincolnshire (www.forestpines.co.uk) which was voted the best new golf course in England in 1996 by Golf World Magazine and recently by Todays Golfer the 'best crafted golf course' in the country in March 2003.

How the Show Started
Before embarking on a trick golf career which makes unusual use out of anything from golf clubs to claw hammers, David was and still is rather good at the game of golf, he is a Former European Tour player and has competed in the 'Open Golf Championship' and three PGA Championships. A Past President and Captain of the Yorkshire PGA in the early 90s and in 2002 was elected Captain of the Lincolnshire PGA together with the prestigious role of Captain of the Midland Region of the Professional Golfers Association. He has over 30 years experience as a professional golfer with a tournament career that took him to top events in both the UK and Europe.
The Golf Show was a big hit at Golf Expo 1999 and 2000 at the NEC Birmingham, the World Corporate Golf Challenge in La Manga, plus the Millennium Open Championship on board the QE2 at St.Andrews.

David has performed at the 2001 Open Championship at Royal Lytham and 2002 Open Championship at Muirfield and for many Corporate clients including Coca-Cola, Lexus, BMW, Honda, British Airways, Erricson and many others.
The Golf Show has travelled abroad and entertained large crowds in countries including Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Cyprus, France, Portugal, Morocco, Ireland, Barbados and many more.
