Throughout the year David Edwards runs a series of Golf Event Days and Special Events through his events company DE Events.
David was the instigator of the successful Bridlington Golf Festival which attracted over 4,000 golfers in its inaugural year and now 15 years on, is regarded as one of the country's most successful golfing festivals.
Here are a list of David's forthcoming events which are the perfect way to entertain your special clients and you can be guaranteed that the event will be run with style!
2012 Events
Wednesday, February 8: Pairs Betterball Stableford at
Lindrick Golf Club. Entry fee is £100 per pair, which includes breakfast, golf and prizes. Lindrick is a fabulous golf course, the venue for many great events. Only TWO PLACES still available - so book now. (You can book as a four-ball and nominate your partners).
Wednesday, February 22: Gloria Winter Series extra qualifying round at Forest Pines. For teams of four players - handicap limit 24 for gents and 30 for ladies. The entry fee is £135 per team which includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival, golf and prizes. Just SIX TEAM PLACES left available.
The top two teams qualify for the 27-hole grand final to be played on Wednesday, April 25 - and the chance of winning a fabulous 'free week half board' golfing holiday at the Gloria Hotels and Golf Resort at Belek in Turkey. Visit the website: www.gloria.com.tr
Further qualifying rounds will be held on Wednesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 28.
Wednesday, May 2: The David Edwards Ping Team Am-Am Stableford at Moortown Golf Club in Leeds which is a regional qualifying venue for the 2012 British Open and past venue for the Ryder Cup. The entry free is £225 per team of four (green fees are normally £80 per person). Price includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival, golf and prizes. DE Events Golf News
[I] There was an excellent turnout for the DE Events Gloria Winter Series extra qualifying round at Forest Pines in December 2011. It was won by Hillsborough GC 1 with 84 points, one ahead of three other teams - Batley Barless, Jezz & The Boys and Turner Warran Accountants.
The qualifiers so far for the 27-hole grand final on April 25 are: Sylvia Properties, Hillsborough GC 1, Hillsborough GC 2, Batley Barless, Jezz & The Boys and Turner Warran Accountants.
